Events Description
Our first concert of the season takes us on a journey through the Romantic era, when composers expanded the expressive possibilities of orchestral music. Bruch’s Introduction to The Loreley draws from the Rhine legend of Loreley, the enchanting maiden whose song was said to lure sailors onto the rocks. Schumann’s Piano Concerto brings piano and orchestra together as partners in one of the Romantic era’s most celebrated concertos. Our soloist for today’s concert on the piano is Kyung Kim. Grieg’s Lyric Suite paints a series of intimate musical scenes inspired by Nordic landscapes and traditions. Please join us for our first concert of the 2026/27 season!
