Events Description
From its inception in 2021, the 10-Minute Play Festival—as a training initiative—has been successful in attracting and holding onto many people new to community theatre. It has allowed them to dip their toes into an ocean of possibilities.
The art of producing live theatre covers a lot of ground and usually requires a commitment to the objective over a period of months that isn’t always possible for everyone. This festival provides folks with a chance to try on any number of aspects of production including acting, directing, making props, designing costumes or working as stage crew (just to name a few) over a few weeks. Even those of us with experience in one aspect of production can try out something new!
