Events Description
A car stands motionless in a forest of poems, but despite everything, time moves on and the landscape changes. Inspired by Paul-Marie Lapointe’s poem of the same name, Arbres pays tribute to trees that have disappeared. A small ecological museum that looks at our relationship with our natural environment.
A site-specific performance/installation created by André Perrier and presented inside a vehicle, Arbres is an ecological statement that celebrates the nobility of these peaceful giants. This short work underlines the important relationship between trees and human lives, both past and present. With projections and images by Pixie Cram and Benoît Brunet-Poirier and an evocative soundscape by Martin Dawagne, Arbres is a meditation, a unique experience that will stay with you for a long time.
