Created by John Kander, Fred Ebb, and Bob Fosse, CHICAGO has been shining in New York for over 28 years, holding the record for longevity. Winner of 6 Tony Awards, 2 Olivier Awards, and a Grammy, CHICAGO has dazzled over 34 million spectators worldwide.
Set in the 1920s in Chicago, the show tells the story of Roxie Hart, a young cabaret artist. After killing her lover, she finds herself in prison with her idol, jazz singer Velma Kelly, who is also imprisoned for murder. With the help of Billy Flynn, a cunning lawyer, they will fight for fame and freedom. The sparkling musical score includes famous songs like All That Jazz, Cell Block Tango, and Razzle Dazzle.
International singing star Véronic DiCaire will play the iconic role of Roxie Hart. She will share the stage with Terra Ciccotosto MacLeod, a Montreal native who has portrayed the legendary role of Velma Kelly on some of the world’s most prestigious stages, including Broadway and London. Quebec artist and actress Mélissa Bédard will make her theatrical debut in the role of Mama Morton.
The charismatic lawyer Billy Flynn will be played by singer Michaël Girard, Bryan Audet will portray Amos Hart.
They will be joined on stage by more than 15 multidisciplinary dancer-singers and a large orchestra of 14 musicians. Presented in French, CHICAGO promises to be one of the must-see events of the summer of 2025!
