The exhibition will showcase over 30 local artists working across a wide range of mediums, styles, and subjects. The result is an exhibition that appeals to diverse tastes and interests. Artworks will be available in a variety of formats and sizes, ranging from large, medium, and small original creations to prints and art cards. In a world where almost anything can be purchased with a single click, *Expressions of Art* offers a very different experience: the chance to meet the artist behind the work.

Visitors are invited to take their time, observe the creations closely, and engage in conversation with the artists who made them. Ask about the inspiration behind a painting, discover how a photograph was created, or learn why a particular material or technique was chosen. These interactions greatly enrich the artistic experience. While a painting, photograph, or sculpture tells its own story, hearing the artist discuss the idea, experience, or creative process that brought the work to life reveals yet another dimension. This personal connection lies at the heart of *Expressions of Art* 2026.

More than 30 members of the West Carleton Arts Society will participate in this year’s exhibition, bringing together artists who have previously exhibited at *Expressions of Art* alongside those taking part for the first time. Together, these artists help make *Expressions of Art* much more than just an exhibition; it is a collective initiative born of the creativity, time, and dedication of the people who bring it to life.

L’exposition mettra en vedette plus de 30 artistes locaux travaillant dans une vaste gamme de médiums, de styles et de sujets. Il en résulte une exposition susceptible de plaire à des goûts et des intérêts très divers. Les œuvres seront disponibles dans une grande variété de formats et de dimensions: créations originales en grand, moyen et petit format, ainsi que des impressions et des cartes artistiques.

Plus de 30 membres de la Société des arts de West Carleton (West Carleton Arts Society), participeront à l’exposition de cette année, réunissant des artistes ayant déjà exposé dans le cadre d’Expressions Artistiques (Expressions of Art) ainsi que ceux qui y participent pour la première fois. Ensemble, ces artistes contribuent à faire d’Expressions Artistiques (Expressions of Art) bien plus qu’une simple exposition. C’est une initiative collective, née de la créativité, du temps et de l’engagement des personnes qui lui donnent vie.
