Faire la marguerite—what does that mean? To answer this question, the L’Eau du bain family, dressed in colourful raincoats, leads a strange ceremony under an eerie sky. Is it about paying tribute to a deceased great-great-aunt? Is it about moistening pots for seedlings to thrive in? The audience is invited to take part in the discussion and finds itself at the heart of an event that, although planned, doesn’t go quite as expected.
Having made their mark in previous editions with works such as White Out (ZT 2019) and Créatures (ZT 2023), L’Eau du bain makes an eagerly awaited return to Zones Théâtrales in 2025 with a new creation. True to its singular approach, this time the company offers a lighter work, at the intersection of performance and theatre. This new work echoes their past performance Le musée de la famille (ZT 2021), and features the creators’ entire family unit in a free and inventive scenic universe.
