Things to Do This Weekend in Ottawa
I saw the musical on Friday. The play is disjointed and confusing to say the least, the songs and music flat, and the delivery left much to be desired. I was less than impressed by the abilities of the cast. The only exception is of course J.P., the only one with any acting chops. Using amateurs is a laudable idea but with so many talented folks in this city why did he take only those with no dancing/singing abilities and dead faces to be in his show? I left at the intermission sadly unable to imagine sitting through another hour of this mess.
