Events Description
Since the first Games were held in 1948, the people of Glengarry have extended close to a million welcomes to visitors who come to see what is estimated to be one of the largest Highland Games in the world. Thousands of people find themselves drawn each year to Maxville to witness an outstanding display of music, dance, sports, fiddling, pageantry, and tradition.
There are so many great events at the Games aimed to please any Celtic fan. Some people come for the music, some for the fiddle, some for the dance and others to watch the heavyweight events. Of course, we can’t forget the pipes, the main attraction for many at the Games. Added to these events, the Games provide one of the best outdoor summer concerts at our Friday night Tattoo, and the unforgettable performance of the Massed Bands at Saturday night’s closing.
Fitting in with all of these events are two full days of the best in celtic entertainment and many special events ranging from military tug-of-wars to sheep dog demonstrations to Scotch tasting. Make sure as well that you visit the wide array of vendors and concessions selling all things Scottish throughout the grounds. No matter your reason for attending the Games, we’re sure your visit will be a memorable one.

Admission: General Admission is only $30 (includes HST) per day at the gate
There is an additional $10 (includes HST) admission fee to access The Tent on Friday night
Children 12 and under are admitted for free
Gate sales are cash only
