Events Description
Royalty comes to the NAC in the form of Mado Lamotte, the legendary Quebec drag queen!
Mado – La bitch joyeuse is a comedy show blending stand-up and variety. Accompanied on stage by pianist Nicolas Burgess, Mado tells her life story with verve and wit, in monologue and song. Loosely based on her recent autobiography, Une Madographie (Éditions La Presse), Mado’s show is a tribute to her 35-year career. Believe us, the life of the “Queen Mother” of drag queens is anything but ordinary! Mado – La bitch joyeuse is a unique journey into the fantastic world of Quebec’s most likeable bitch.
