Events Description

This March Break, create memories that sparkle like the stars! Enjoy solar system crafts, crater demonstrations, and Lego Rover workshops that shed light on Canada’s role in space exploration.

Take your child’s imagination to new heights! At our LEGO lunar rover workshops, kids will customize and program rovers to complete a space challenge. Participants will learn about rovers, engineering and Canada’s role in upcoming lunar missions. They will use ingenuity to help their LEGO rover to repair a communications satellite on an imaginary lunar base. Museum admission is not included. Parents and guardians may drop off their children for this activity. No supervision is required.

CELESTIAL CRAFT
Create a beautiful work of art featuring our Earth-Moon-Sun system which will help you understand how these celestial bodies move in relation to each other. For kids aged 4 to 7 years old, but all are welcome! Offered daily. Included with admission.

CREATING CRATERS
Discover how craters are formed and what scientists can learn about them at these daily (and messy!) demonstrations. Included with Museum admission. Offered daily.
