Events Description
A celebration of the french quarter’s music.
The music of Louisiana will be in the spotlight in the show New Orleans Blues, which immerses the audience in the culture of the southern United States through its vibrant atmosphere.
Together, a dozen seasoned artists will create a setting worthy of an evening on Bourbon Street, blending jazz, bluegrass, funk, gospel, and many other warm sounds in a lively production directed by Normand Brathwaite.
With the fusion of music and the legendary history of Louisiana, New Orleans Blues is a unique event not to be missed!
“New Orleans is where the world decided the party would happen, and New Orleans Blues, will be a full sensory experience, bringing together a dozen artists, amazing singers and musicians, in a Mardi Gras-like atmosphere!”
Normand Brathwaite
“I’ve wanted to produce a show celebrating the music of New Orleans since Hurricane Katrina in 2005. At that time, I owned the Théâtre Capitole and dreamed of hosting and bringing together musicians and artists from Bourbon Street on stage after the disaster. Today, that dream is finally coming true, and I have entrusted its creation to Normand, whose musical expertise, passion, and outstanding work on Belle et Bum I greatly admire.”
