Events Description
Nobuntu is an all women, four piece a’cappella vocal ensemble from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. The name Nobuntu is an African concept that values humbleness, love, purpose, unity and family from a woman’s perspective. This group wows audiences with a fusion of traditional Zimbabwean rooted music, Afro Jazz, Gospel and Crossover. They have appeared at festivals both in Zimbabwe, Europe, and have toured in the USA. Plus, they were nominated for the Zimbabwe International Women Awards in Musician of the Year 2015 Category.
A unique performance that will entertain from start to finish.
“Their sound was mesmeric. It was a unique, contralto blended unison, its richness the result of years of discipline and training.” – The Royal Gazette
