Events Description
This year, the second edition of this enchanting concert will feature 14 amazing young performers who are set to deliver a performance that promises to be uplifting and inspiring.
Our lineup includes past recitalists at Dominion-Chalmers, Matthew Li and Ian Sabourin from Opéra de Montréal, showcasing their breathtaking vocal prowess. We are also excited to present rising stars in Early Music such as Kerry Bursey, Ellen Torrie, Anna Lewton-Brain, Janelle Lucyk and William Kraushaar.
Adding to all those splendid voices, a returning brass quintet from the University of Ottawa featuring Shaw Nicholson, Anik Cassie, Declan Kinghorn, Graham Rowland, and Conan Moraal will fill the church with their majestic sounds.
This exciting ensemble will be joined by the talented Emmanuel Solomon, Dominion-Chalmers Artist in Residence, under the leadership of Director of Music Nick Veltmeyer.
The concert follows an Easter Service at 10:30 AM and a light luncheon, offering a day of community, reflection, and celebration. Whether you are deeply rooted in the traditions of Easter or simply wish to enjoy an afternoon concert of exquisite music, this event promises to be a memorable gathering for all.
