Events Description
The SVA’s annual Parade of Lights is a community favourite, drawing thousands of spectators along the parade route. Each year, dozens of beautifully decorated community floats set the tone for Santa’s much anticipated arrival at the end of the parade.
Merry makers are also encouraged to stay for the lighting of Village Square Park, and to share in some hot chocolate (thank you Salvation Army!), cookies (courtesy of Thunderbird Sports Camps), musical entertainment from the Military Wives Chor, a Scouts-run bonfire, and a visit with Santa immediately following the parade.
In the spirit of the season, the Lions Club will be collecting donations for the Stittsville Food Bank, and volunteers from the Stocking Project will be collecting new gift items for families in our community.

Venue & Address:
The parade will proceed south on Stittsville Main Street, from from Brown’s YIG to Carleton Cathcart.
Stittsville Main Street will close to traffic at 5:45 pm.
