Voices of the Earth – Choral concert

Our 41st season begins to the beat of a different drum. Voices of the Earth explores our relationship with the earth’s elements as well as that of our Indigenous communities.

The collaborative concert will feature music by Canadian and Indigenous composers; support from the C5 children’s choir; as well as local musicians and soloists.
Voices of the Earth is sure to evoke many thoughts and feelings. A night of music, predominantly from Canada, including a selection of Indigenous composers whose gift of music reflects conversations of our time.

One composer describes his epic piece as … “ a story of beauty, fragility, darkness, greed, humility, innocence, hope and ultimately redemptive optimism”.

Be part of the telling of these stories and take with you the images of this wonderful evening.

We look forward to sharing our journey with you!
