Extended Day Trip from Swift Current visiting best shorebird habitats in Saskatchewan at Chaplin Shorebird Reserve and nearby hotspots including Reed Lake.
Endangered Piping Plover is often found here.
Other shorebirds and waders often include White-faced Ibis, Sanderling, Wilson’s Phalarope, American Avocet, Black-necked Stilt, Marbled Godwit, Short-billed Dowitcher, Lesser Yellowlegs, Willet, Spotted Sandpiper, Killdeer.
