Regina
Events Description
This family friendly event starts with a guided outdoor bird walk to count the birds we see as part of a participatory science project with Birds Canada. Nature Regina will provide outdoor programming for families with kids 5 and under. Warm up in the lobby after the walk with crafts, activities, snacks, and prizes! Learn how to keep our birds safe and support local wildlife with a presentation from Salthaven West. Be part of the unveiling of Regina’s Official Bird painting by artist Madison Pascal! This beautiful artwork will travel among public buildings as a symbol of Regina’s commitment to protecting bird populations and promoting bird-friendly urban spaces.
