Maros Hungarian Folk Dance Ensemble is proud to host the 45th annual Western Canadian Hungarian Folk Festival (WCHFF) in Saskatoon. The Broadway Theatre is home to our feature presentation: WCHFF Gala Concert on Saturday, October 7. The performance will delight our Saskatoon audience with the colours and sounds of Hungary, presented by over 150 dancers and musicians from across western Canada and featured guest artists from Hungary. Tickets to this unforgettable concert are available through Broadway Theatre.
Our festival weekend also features the following:
– dance-house social dances (tanchaz) on the evenings of Oct. 6, 7, and 8 complete with teaching circles for beginners
– a marketplace (piac) with local and Hungarian craft items on Sunday, Oct. 8
– a variety of workshops in dance, singing, crafts, and music, led by experts from Hungary on Sunday, Oct. 8
These events will be held at the Delta Marriott Hotel in downtown Saskatoon, and the public is welcome and encouraged to join us for any or all events throughout the weekend. Check our website for more details on all festival events: sites.google.com/view/marosensemble/home

Tickets : $5 to $40
Tickets for the Gala Concert range from $15 (Youth) to $20 (General) and are available through the Broadway Theatre, Saskatoon (direct link for online purchase provided below)
Tickets for other festival events range from free (for children under 5 years) to $25 (adult) for an evening social dance (tanchaz); free to $40 (adult) for passes to all workshops on Sunday; and $5 to $10 for individual workshops on Sunday.
