Events Description
Join us for an immersive lyric writing workshop led by decorated Saskatchewan hip hop artist, JUSTDAVEthe1, and singer/songwriter, Valerie Wiebe. Uncover how to write authentic lyricism, basic elements of songwriting, and participate in guided writing exercises to find your unique voice. With a mix of insightful discussions, hands-on activities, and collaborative lyric writing sessions, this workshop is a dynamic journey into the art of crafting compelling lyrics. Participants and other creatives are welcome to come to Penrose YXE for an optional Post-Workshop Social, where participants can join in networking, drinks, and food. This is also an excellent opportunity to connect with industry professionals, including label representatives, WieManage partners, and other music industry heavyweights. Join us for an unforgettable experience that goes beyond the music. There is also a $50 discount for participants who attend the lyric workshop to also attend the Songs in The Garden Workshop.
