2026 Anniversary
The year 2026 marks sixty years since the first PROBUS Club was founded in 1966 by the Rotary Club of Caterham, England. Since then, PROBUS has grown into an international fellowship of more than 4,000 clubs in over 20 countries, providing friendship, fellowship, lifelong learning, and social engagement for retired and semi-retired adults.
Did you know there are three clubs who meet in Saskatoon? 😏 Every Probus Club in Canada operates autonomously and is managed locally by its own elected executive and management committees to determine their own activities.

Flag Raising Ceremony taking place October 1 over the noon hour (12-1) at City Hall Civic Square. Arrive as early as 11:30 if you wish to set up your lawn chair for seating… and stay till 1:30 after the ceremony to help with the clean up. Opportunity for coffee and a social after (optional) Please come and bring a guest! Members and executive from all three Saskatoon Probus Clubs will be there to celebrate. Show your club pride by wearing our Probus colors, Purple (purple – blue) and gold (yellow), to bring extra festive cheer and camaraderie to the event!
