Events Description
SJIWFF presents a free screening of Midnight At The Paradise in celebration of National Canadian Film Day on Wednesday, April 15! See Vanessa Matsui’s romantic dramedy set in Toronto against the backdrop of the crumbling Paradise Cinema. Over the course of one evening, three couples are pulled into a collision course of sexual chemistry, delusion and hope as they explore love, death, desire and what the magic of movies mean to them.
Director Vanessa Matsui (Son of a Critch, Saint-Pierre, How To Fail As a Pop Star, Ghost BFF) and star Allan Hawco (Saint-Pierre, Republic of Doyle, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan) will be joining for this special, one-off screening.
This is a public event, all are welcome!
