Events Description
Through Amici’s 35 years of presenting chamber music concerts, we have come across a few pieces which can be lovingly referred to as “Gems”; music which is equally enjoyed by the performers as much as the audience. Some are familiar and others are largely unknown, but we never grow tired of playing them. These short imaginative “gems” are sure to thoroughly entertain. Featuring the exceptional guest artists: Jonathan Crow (violin), and Neil Deland (horn).
Program:
Johannes Brahms: Sonata for Clarinet and piano, Op. 120
Zdeněk Fibich: Quintet, Op. 42
Carl Frühling: Clarinet Trio, Op.40
Sofia Gubaidulina: Preludes for Solo Cello
Guest artists:
Erika Raum, violin/ Neil Deland, horn
