Events Description
Welcome spring with an afternoon of sublime music, warm tea, and sweet pastries in the intimate charm of Brevik Hall. In this special edition of Musical Afternoons with Tea, the Ostiguy/Habib Duo—featuring celebrated cellist Dominique Beauséjour-Ostiguy and virtuoso guitarist Christ Habib—presents ‘A Tribute to Piazzolla’.
This rich and vibrant program begins with a journey through styles and eras, from the elegance of J.S. Bach to the jazz genius of Duke Ellington, the lush soundscapes of Gabriel Fauré, and the bold modernism of Béla Bartók. The second half shines a spotlight on Astor Piazzolla’s electrifying tango compositions—music that stirs the soul with rhythm, passion, and unforgettable beauty.
