To close off the end of Black History Month, the Kimpton Saint George Hotel will be hosting an elevated Social Hour on February 27 from 5-6 pm to reveal a new art piece, Oasis by Kanna Anigbogu, an Igbo-Nigerian artist based out of Toronto, to add to the large collection of Canadian art featured throughout the hotel. Kanna’s art fuses movement, playful experimentation, Igbo inspiration, and mystery to express imaginative tales that are full of mood and feeling.
During the art reveal, guests will be able to speak with Kanna about his artwork and inspiration while they enjoy wines from local Black-owned winery Nyarai and a musical performance by local singer Kimya.
