Events Description
Broadsway has been wowing audiences and winning fans from the start, playing the finest Jazz clubs, Cabaret rooms, and theatres from Southern Ontario to New York City. With a marvelous musical meshing, and a healthy dose of humour, it’s Broadway, THEIR way! It’s BROADSWAY!!
What do you get when you combine three middle-aged, strong-willed, fun-forward “Broads” and their unique take on the music of the Great White Way? You get Broadsway: Heather Bambrick, Diane Leah, and Julie Michels … three uber-talented women with musical backgrounds ranging from Theatre, Jazz, and Cabaret, to R&B, Gospel, and Pop. They combine their talents with some of Canada’s finest instrumentalists whose collective resumés include work with Paul Simon, Sting, Diana Krall, Paula Cole, Shaw Festival, Mirvish Productions, Matt Dusk, Rosanne Cash, and many others.
Together, they perform timeless repertoire from the American Songbook, mixed with classics from the world of Jazz and Popular music … all served with a generous helping of humour that makes a show you reeeeeally don’t want to miss!
