Toronto
Events Description
Do you remember the Hadassah Bazaar, which was a Toronto tradition for over 80 years? Then join us for our CHW National Garage Sale: an Ode to the Hadassah Bazaar! Shop collectibles, antiques, jewelry, purses, preloved children’s toys and clothing, adult coats, fabulous artwork, homewares, decor, and everything in between! Plan to come early to have first pick of the best items on sale and to participate in fun contests for awesome prizes!
The Toronto sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Promenade Mall parking lot (west side of the mall, between doors 4 & 5), in Thornhill. Come shop for fabulous treasures and bring a friend or three! Enjoy giveaways from several mall vendors too! No early birds, please. All proceeds will be directed to projects in Canada and Israel that empower women and children to break the cycle of violence and start a new life in safety and security.
Founded by visionary Jewish women in 1917, CHW (Canadian Hadassah-WIZO) is a non-political, non-partisan, national network of dedicated volunteers who believe that excellence and advancement of education, healthcare, and social services transcends politics, religion, and national boundaries.
