ECHOES OF THE DIASPORA
YENSA Festival hosts a cross-city celebration of African Dance. We are thrilled to welcome powerhouse guests from Chicago – Ayodele Drum & Dance – for two days of exhilarating workshops and celebration, August 9 & 10. Experience the energy, tradition, and artistry they bring as we gather in rhythm and movement. These workshops highlight the deep love and connection shared by Black women across borders, from Toronto to Chicago, as we come together to uplift and support each other through dance, culture, and community.
