A new flamenco show at a BRAND NEW VENUE! Four of Canada’s most celebrated flamenco artists will perform live flamenco music at dance as it is seen in the intimate “tablaos” of Spain, at a storied venue for the first time: the beloved MONARCH TAVERN.
On Thursday, January 30th at 8pm, Lia Grainger (Flamencolía Dance Company), singer Ana Lía, guitarist Nicolás Hernández (The Elevator Collective, Jesse Cook), and percussionist Chendy León (The Elevator Collective, Jesse Cook) will take the stage at the Monarch’s storied downstairs music venue. Experience this passionate and spectacular art form performed by four of the most prolific flamenco artists in the country today. It will be a night to remember.
