SHORE Centre is excited to invite you to daughters, mothers, grandmothers, and other sexual outlaws Opening Night Exhibit Event in collaboration with Inter Pares on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Conrad Grebel University College in Waterloo. Light refreshments will be provided during the event.
Rita Morbia, Inter Pares Co-Manager, will be joining this event as the guest speaker, offering a deeper understanding of the exhibit and the powerful message behind it.
daughters, mothers, grandmothers, and other sexual outlaws will showcase how intergenerational exchanges and youth leadership drive sexual and reproductive health and rights activism within families and communities across the globe.
This thought-provoking exhibit, co-curated by Inter Pares and three international counterparts, highlights the work of socially engaged photographers to provide a glimpse into the lives and struggles of feminist activists across El Salvador, rural landless communities in Bangladesh, and in informal settlements of Manila in the Philippines.
The Opening Night Exhibit Event is in collaboration with Inter Pares, a 50-year-old feminist social justice organization based in Ottawa that believes in solidarity, not charity, as an approach to international cooperation.
This exhibit will open on the evening of Wednesday, February 26, 2025 and will close on Friday, March 14, 2025 at 12:00 PM. While the exhibit itself will be free and open to the public, the Opening Night Exhibit Event offers a unique, one-night-only experience!

Tickets : $25 per person
Tickets are on sale until Monday, February 24th for just $25 per person through our CanadaHelps page. All proceeds will directly support SHORE Centre’s work and ongoing efforts to better support our community. Attendees are more than welcome to bring guests! Just a friendly reminder that each person attending will need to purchase a ticket.
