Events Description
Apple maggots are one of the most common—and most destructive—fruit tree pests in Canada. From backyard trees in B.C. to urban orchards in Ontario, these tiny invaders are ruining apple harvests nationwide.
In this virtual, expert-led workshop, you’ll learn how to spot early signs of infestation, what to do with affected fruit, and how to protect your trees before damage spreads. The session is led by a certified pest management specialist with years of experience supporting home growers and community orchards across Western Canada.
Whether you’re tending a single backyard tree or managing a neighborhood harvest, this $10 workshop will give you the clarity and tools you need to rescue more fruit and reduce waste—no matter where in Canada you grow.
