Events Description
Prince Edward County artists and creators Anne Du Bois, Dianne Beauregard, Delane Cooper and Andrea Piller come together for Inspirare, a collaborative art exhibition taking place October 10 and 11 at D. Beauregard Studio in Bloomfield.
Inspirare, Latin for “to breathe into,” explores a unique, interlaced collaboration where the visual, tactile and olfactory come together. These four artists have created opportunities for creative conversations, crossing boundaries by merging paint, sculpture, clay, jewelry and natural fragrance into multi-sensory works. This creative challenge allowed each artist to explore new possibilities, dive deeper into their creative process and discover unexpected connections between their individual practices, while exploring themes of landscape, touch, memory and ecological interconnectedness.
Visitors are invited to experience the collaboration both indoors and out, throughout Dianne Beauregard’s studio and gardens. All the fragrances can be experienced on their own and as they are in conversation with the other Artists’ media, while all four artists will be present to talk about the work.
Full street address to be announced October 1 via Savon Du Bois Instagram, @savondubois.
