Come experience the soul of the Caribbean on the waterfront this Caribana weekend!
Saturday, watch DJ Starting from Scratch and Toronto’s favourite soul and R&B band, The Recipee, go head-to-head on stage in a sound battle clash, then slide on over to Bobby Bermuda’s for the Island Vibes After Party with DJ Starting from Scratch and DJ Che La Soul.
Sunday it’s Festival de l’Éclat! From smooth Zouk ballads to high-energy Kompa grooves, get ready to party to a day full of rhythm, community love and soul. Rooted in the rich musical traditions of Haiti, Guadeloupe, Martinique and other parts of the Francophone Caribbean, the celebration brings together live music, local and international artists, a fusion of Creole cuisine, dance troupes and cultural exhibitions presented in partnership with Festival Kompa Zouk Ontario.
