The trio’s repertoire moves seamlessly from beloved jazz standards such as Body & Soul, Cookin’ at the Continental, and Love for Sale to original works including Duke’s In Town, The Bear, and True Blue — drawn from Sealy’s acclaimed recordings Africville Suite and True Blue. Together, the trio delivers a performance that is sophisticated, expressive, and deeply rooted in the jazz tradition.
With a career spanning more than five decades, Joe Sealy is one of Canada’s most respected jazz composers and pianists. A JUNO Award–winning artist, Sealy has toured internationally and collaborated across music, theatre, and film, earning recognition for both his musical excellence and cultural contributions. His work as a bandleader and composer reflects a lifelong commitment to jazz as both an art form and a living conversation — making this dinner and jazz evening a rare opportunity to experience masterful musicianship in an intimate setting.
