Mary’s Meals is excited to invite you, along with your family and friends, to an evening of songs and stories featuring the talents of celebrated local musical artists Jacob Moon, David Leask and Ali Matthews, PLUS the Canadian premiere screening of our new docuseries ZERO HUNGER I Part 1.
ZERO HUNGER is the first episode in a documentary series that examines the issue of global hunger. The film follows Time Magazine 100 and CNN Hero, Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow on a journey to meet extraordinary individuals taking bold steps to improve their communities, including remarkable stories of people in Turkana, Kenya who are coming together amidst unprecedented challenges to work toward ending child hunger.
Celebrate the many children, families, and communities to whom Mary’s Meals has brought hope and find out how, together, we can continue our life-saving mission to provide hungry children with a daily meal in a place of education in the world’s poorest communities.
The event is FREE of charge and no RSVP is required. Join us for an evening filled with great music, good friends and amazing stories of hope and resilience. Everyone is invited! Suitable for all ages.
