Lunar Nights: Year of the Dragon Festival at Markham Museum illuminates the city with a wonderful display of 20 scenes featuring over 250 colourful silk lanterns celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the Lunar New Year on our 25-acre site. Beyond the captivating outdoor walk-through lantern show, guests can also immerse themselves in many rich experiences.
In our indoor, interactive exhibitions, guests may meet traditional vendors, and enjoy many hands-on activities including a telescopic moon viewing, a baby dragon petting station, a wish tree, exciting dragon performances and an indoor arts and crafts area.
Weather permitting, this festival will include an outdoor ice skating rink (BYO Skates) and a refreshing snowshoeing experience.
