From veterans of the industry, to those just starting out in their careers, MAP Orientation is for actors of all levels of experience. This isn’t an intro to acting: it’s a complete grounding in the unique way we work at MAP.
• Explore and grow your acting & artistry.
• Do a deep dive into the artistic practice at MAP.
• Learn how we approach listening & reacting, stitching your heart to the story, point of view and how we view character.
• Get out of your head and into your heart & instinct.
• Learn to reframe your training experience, so it is the most healthy and conducive to growth it can be.
• Enjoy a safe environment in which to take risks and have fun doing so
Once actors have completed Orientation, they are eligible to join our ongoing classes.
