Toronto
Events Description
This season, the Ehnes Quartet brings their compelling artistry to Toronto for a one-night-only performance not to be missed.
The Ehnes Quartet, one of today’s most sought-after chamber ensembles, features renowned Canadian violinist James Ehnes alongside violinist Amy Schwartz Moretti, violist Che-Yen Chen, and cellist Edward Arron. Officially founded in 2010, the members have collaborated for decades, forging a deep musical bond. Known for their passion, artistic command, and refined musicianship, they deliver extraordinary performances that captivate audiences. Their seamless interplay and nuanced expression earned praise from The Strad, which noted how they “meshed together like old friends, themes passing seamlessly, unison writing blending perfectly as solo themes emerged, and the ebb and flow managed beautifully.”
