Taking place ahead of National Indigenous Peoples Day this free, family-friendly event welcomes everyone to experience the vibrant traditions of Indigenous culture. Enjoy drumming, dancing, and singing, browse craft and food vendors, and connect with community booths.
The 25th annual Pow Wow is an inclusive, family-friendly and free-to-attend festival that honours Indigenous culture by sharing the rich and diverse traditions, contributions and language of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples from Tkaronto (Toronto) and Canada.
Experience traditional dancing and drumming performances, explore a lively, interactive marketplace with authentic Indigenous handmade artwork and crafts delicious cuisine from Indigenous vendors and visit information booths to learn more about Indigenous communities, initiatives and history.
Since 1985, Na-Me-Res has provided outreach, temporary, transitional and permanent housing to Indigenous men living on the streets of Toronto, using a cultural-based approach filled with respect and spirit. Na-Me-Res ensures that Indigenous people experiencing homelessness have access to a continuum of culturally appropriate support, securing stable, safe and affordable housing while helping them to achieve their personal goals and aspirations.
