Don’t miss the music from the Newmarket Citizen’s Band from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. followed by a live concert from 9 to 10 p.m. featuring the band Switchbeat. Fireworks will take place from approximately 10:10 to 10:30 p.m.

YRT shuttle services will be available for attendees to the Daytime Concert & Festival at Riverwalk Commons from the following locations:

Ray Twinney Complex (100 Eagle Street West, Newmarket)
Free public parking is available in the following locations in the downtown area:
– Doug Duncan Drive
– Large parking lot North of the Community Centre and Lions Hall
– Fairy Lake Park (off Water Street)
– All Our Kids Playpark (off Timothy Street)
– Residential streets where parking signs permit
Public parking with access to the event from the Tom Taylor Trail:
– Municipal Offices (395 Mulock Drive)
– Cane Parkway
– Newmarket Seniors Meeting Place (474 Davis Drive)
– Newmarket Youth Centre & Sk8 Park (56 Charles Street)
Parking is also available at the Ray Twnney Recreation Complex and Magna Centre with access to the event via the event bus shuttle.
On Wednesday, July 1, 2026, Main Street, between Water Street and Queen Street and Timothy Street, between Doug Duncan Drive and Main Street (including Cedar Street), will be closed from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Vehicle access or parking will not be permitted on Main Street during this time.
