Events Description
UNFOLDING is an after-school arts program that proposes a different method of education for the arts in which participants are immersed in pure experiential learning with the guidance of professional artists and a life coach, while reflecting on their personal and collective situations, learning from their environment and those around them.
Over the past nine months, nine aspiring young artists between the ages of 11 and 14 have been exploring a diverse range of artistic mediums, including photography, printmaking, graphic design, visual arts (with materials such as pastels, inks, watercolours, and acrylics), paper maché, pottery, community arts, and land-based education. This exhibition is a culmination of many months of artistic exploration!
Join us for the opening reception at Paper Mill Gallery (Todmorden Mills Heritage Site, 67 Pottery Road, Toronto, ON, M4K 2B9) on Tuesday, December 19th from 5:30-7:30pm to celebrate their achievements!
The exhibit will be open to the public from December 19th, 2023 until January 7th, 2024.

About EmotionArt Collective
We are an artistic collective of enthusiastic dreamers with the goal of creating art-based programs that work with the community in a setting where all emotions are valid and essential drivers of human expression and development.
EmotionArt was created with the goal of reaching community members who would otherwise may not have access to participate in art programs due to systemic issues such as income and social inequalities, and other barriers to accessibility, participation, and inclusion.
