Events Description
Have you ever been deeply moved by a song? Whether it’s the lyrics, the rhythm, or the whole experience, music has the power to inspire and heal. In celebration of International Women’s Week, Women in Music Canada invites you to an afternoon of profound musical experiences.
Join us for intimate performances by four incredible women and gender-diverse artists as they share songs of empowerment, resilience, and transformation. Hear firsthand how songwriting has helped them navigate life’s challenges and rise above adversity.
Hosted by the dynamic multidisciplinary artist Kinnie Star, the event will feature powerful performances from spoken word and hip-hop artist Kimmortal, up-and-coming singer-songwriter Kyra Daniel, and more exciting artists to be announced.
Presented with the generous support of TD Bank, SOCAN, and SiriusXM (as part of the EQLive project), and funded in part by Ontario Creates.
