Events Description
The Tall Ships return to the Toronto Waterfront Festival, presented by Redpath. A fleet of historic ships will dock along Sugar Beach for two days of nautical fun.
- Festival highlights include:
Tour the decks of visiting ships Lettie G. Howard, Liberty Clipper, Pride of Baltimore II, presented by Menkes and Fair Jeanne. - Sail aboard Empire Sandy, Canada’s largest tall ship, with four sail-aways per day including a coveted sunset sail each evening.
- Live entertainment on the George Brown Stage, and interactive activities from partners.
- Enjoy delicious local food vendors in the Billy Bishop Airport Picnic Lounge.
- On-land activations from the Canadian Armed Forces, Canadian Coast Guard, Live Green Toronto, and Moccasin Identifier.
The 2025 festival is proudly presented by Redpath Sugar, with support from The Waterfront BIA, City of Toronto, Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, Menkes Developments, George Brown College, Waterfront Toronto, Porter Airlines, Westin Harbour Castle, Tall Ships America and the City of Toronto.

The Toronto Waterfront Festival is an annual summer event that began in 2010. Each year the festival features on-land and on-water entertainment including live music, food, kids activities, nautical programs and more.

We encourage visitors to avoid driving and take a ride share, taxi, public transit, bike or walk wherever possible as there is a lot of construction on the waterfront and limited parking. TTC. For detailed routes please visit the TTC Trip Planner.
For accessibility options please visit Wheel Trans. Walking from GO and Union Station From Union GO and Subway Station walk south through Union Railway Station into the ACC Galleria and walk south to Queens Quay. At Queens Quay, turn left and walk for 15-20 minutes to reach 11 Dockside Drive / Sugar Beach. Look for the pink umbrellas and you’ll be there!
