Events Description

Maestro Peter Oundjian has been hailed as a masterful and dynamic presence in the conducting world and has developed a multi-faceted portfolio as a conductor, violinist, professor, and artistic advisor. He has been celebrated for his musicality, an eye towards collaboration, innovative programming, and an engaging personality.

Part of the Temerty Orchestral Program at The Glenn Gould School (GGS), the Royal Conservatory Orchestra (RCO) is widely regarded as an outstanding ensemble and one of the best training orchestras in North America. It consists of instrumental students in the undergraduate and graduate programs of The Glenn Gould School. Graduates of the RCO have joined the ranks of the greatest orchestras in the world.

We are honoured to dedicate this performance to the memory of GGS Piano Faculty member John Perry (1935-2025).

Please join us! This concert is preceded by a short Prelude Talk about John Perry’s career and legacy. Prelude Talk starts at 6:45pm.
