Explore your local watershed and discover the adventures of salmon and their incredible journey at this fun, family-friendly nature walk! Learn all about salmon life cycle, migration, and ongoing restoration efforts, as we search for salmon swimming upstream during the fall salmon run.
If we spot any salmon in Etobicoke Creek, we’ll submit our findings to TRCA’s Salmon in the GTA project as community scientists.
Family Nature Program (Ages 6+)
- Beginner level information
- Acitivities and concepts that are family friendly
- Intended audience includes children, youth and adults
- Children must be accompanied by adults
- It’s an outdoor program, please wear comfortable shoes
- If there is inclement weather, registered participants will be emailed of any changes to the program
- No pets allowed
