Events Description
Featuring Artin Avaznia.
SANDBO۲S is the vibrant Persian pop duo formed by Iranian-Canadian artists Shalco and Afta Hill. Both artists arrived at this collaboration after building impressive careers on their own.
Shalco is a record producer, rapper, and songwriter who has gained wide attention for pairing sharp political satire with infectious production. His TikTok series Club Bangers but it’s Depressing Statisticsearned millions of views and helped propel his music to millions of Spotify streams in just two years. His track “Debt” was featured on CBC Radio, while viral anthem “Boogieman” was celebrated as one of the first pro-trans house tracks embraced by Gen Z on TikTok.
Afta Hill has carved his own lane in hip hop and R&B, blending his Persian roots with modern sounds to craft music that is cinematic and emotionally charged. Through his independent label Bad Faith Records, he released ambitious projects like Tehranto and nothing NOTHING, combining music with visual art and powerful storytelling. For Tehranto, he even directed his own film, showing the depth of his vision as both a musician and a storyteller.
Together as SANDBO۲S, the two shift the spotlight toward joy, humor, and community. Their debut single “Park” exploded online, kicking off a viral dance trend and soundtracking moments of laughter and soccer culture across the Middle Eastern diaspora. Their first album Sandboys FC builds on that momentum, celebrating the spirit of the underdog and turning everyday life into music that unites.
On stage, SANDBO۲S deliver a show packed with energy, cultural pride, and pure fun. Expect dancing, laughter, and a shared sense of celebration. This is more than a concert. It is an invitation to join the team.
