Events Description
Embrace the tranquil charm of Lili Boulanger’s D’un matin de printemps, a serene tribute to spring, followed by the lively, Spanish-infused rhythms of Ravel’s Alborada del gracioso. The program also highlights 2023/2024 TSYO Concerto Competition winner Angelina Sievers, performing Weber’s Andante and Hungarian Rondo for Viola and Orchestra. Finally, the revolutionary intensity of Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 5 brings the concert to a powerful close, weaving together a journey of peacefulness, vibrancy, and intensity to awaken the full breadth of the senses.
