The Bentway transforms into a glowing horizon with SOLAR, a breathtaking new light installation by Italian artist Quayola and commissioned in partnership with Videocittà, Rome’s celebrated festival of video and digital culture.
In SOLAR, hundreds of synchronized light beams sweep across The Bentway at Strachan Ave, guided by a robotic arm in a captivating dance of light and shadow. Inspired by the optical phenomena of twilight, this large-scale installation recreates the ephemeral beauty of the moments when day transitions into night, offering a mesmerizing simulated sunset. Experience sunset like never before!
