Events Description
Hot off the heels of its successful inaugural season, TO Live’s Studio Sessions returns with music that will warm the soul.
Studio Sessions curated by Uma Nota Culture presents an evening of music by Fethi Nadjem and his band, offering an immersive journey through sound, memory, and movement.
Rooted in Algerian musical traditions and shaped by global diasporic influences, Fethi Nadjem is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and bandleader known for his expansive, genre-fluid approach. His music moves seamlessly between North African rhythms, jazz improvisation, funk, and contemporary groove, creating compositions that are both deeply grounded and boldly exploratory.
With his band, Nadjem builds rich, dynamic soundscapes driven by virtuosic musicianship and a shared spirit of improvisation. The performance unfolds as a conversation between tradition and experimentation, structure and freedom, inviting audiences into a space where rhythm becomes narrative and melody carries cultural memory.
Together, they craft a live experience that is soulful, expansive, and alive with possibility, music that speaks across borders and generations, while remaining rooted in the joy of collective creation.
