Join us to celebrate Toronto’s oldest and most beloved free community fair!
University Settlement will welcome thousand of community members to Grange Park on August 7 (11:30 AM to 3 PM) for the 85th annual Grange Festival, a long-standing Toronto tradition celebrating culture, connection, and community. The Grange Festival welcomes more than 4500 participants each year and features performances, community organizations, leisure activities, food, and opportunities for neighbours of all ages to connect. All free!
At this year’s festival, attendees will have the opportunity to explore community tables from more than 25 Toronto-based organizations. In addition, they will be able to enjoy live performances by local artists, including dance and music representing the city’s diverse cultural communities, as well as performances from University Settlement’s Music & Arts School and Seniors Programs. Free games and activities will also be available, as well as free treats, including hot dogs, ice cream, snow cones, popcorn, and cotton candy.

The Grange Festival’s rich history dates to its origins as the Spring Festival in the early 1900s, when it featured music, drama, and neighbourhood parades. The festival in its current form has been celebrated for 85 years. and stands as a testament to the resilience and unity of Toronto’s diverse communities, with values that closely align with University Settlement’s mission.
