Taste delicious chocolate and black garlic sweet and savoury dishes created by Toronto’s finest chefs and chocolate makers. Curated by Toronto Garlic Festival, this one-of-a-kind inaugural Valentine’s event takes place Saturday Feb 1, 2025 at Evergreen Brick Works. Free Admission includes access to talks and presentations.
Garlic and Chocolate? Chocolate and black garlic both undergo the Maillard reaction during their production, which produces a complex array of roasted and caramelized compounds. This shared process results in a natural flavour synergy.Past Toronto Garlic Festival creations like Laura Slack’s black garlic-infused Lestat Truffle and Brandon Olsen’s Coffee, Black Garlic, and Passion Fruit Truffle show how black garlic elevates desserts.
